So starting this January 2016, we shall be curating all articles written about Telecoms in Uganda by Ugandans. We shall also add anything else we find relevant that isn’t from Uganda. We are calling it Telecom Watch. In Telecom Watch, we shall bring News about Telecoms in Uganda, We shall also be covering key areas like Voice, Internet, Mobile Money, Business solutions, Promotions and Offers and whatever else will be trending in the world of Ugandan telecoms. UTL gets a new Managing Director Mark Jude Shoebridge is the new UTL MD. UTL has been struggling in business, It’s clear the company isn’t turning in a profit and there may be a lot of customer churn. Artist Richard Kawesa in a Row with Africell over copyright infringement  After Africell took over Orange, they seem to have forgotten that they inherit all the benefits and burdens. Orange had a deal with Richard Kawesa a respected Ugandan artist to use his music. Africell refused to continue with arrangement but continued to use his music without compensation.
